Gortin

Gortin
The little town of Gortin from the Gortin Glen Forest Park. Gortin has come a long way from the 1840s Gortin when a writer described the surrounding scenery, though bold, as "generally destitute of beauty from the want of wood, which is found only at Beltrim, a residence surrounded by young and thriving plantations". Gortin, County Tyrone, Ulster, Northern Ireland, (an Goirtín, Contae Thír Eoghain, Ulaidh, Tuaisceart Éireann), August 26, 2012. f/6.3, 1/160 second, ISO 200.
